Place Matters 2000 Exhibition General Notes

This portion of the Southeast Museum's 2000 exhibit, focused on how our youth view their
community. The museum staff approached the local schools to collaborate on a project where Brewster students would share their thoughts about what makes their hometown a special
place, what improvement they would like to see and what they would like to convey to others about the Town of Southeast and Village of Brewster. The
students expressed their ideas through a variety of media: photo essays, poems, surveys, written essays and other original artwork.
